This lovely family was coming from different parts of the Country to meet up in Ouray CO for a reunion and wanted to have portraits made since they don’t get to see each other that often. It’s a rather long drive from Durango to Ouray, but it’s gorgeous and so Ken and I set off on a beautiful day to photograph this family. They wanted to have them taken by the river where the middle children (now adults) had vacationed when they were young with their parents in the middle. Many of the newer members of the family hadn’t been to Ouray yet.
They loved their images and ordered wall portraits for each of the families so they can enjoy them every day and pass them down to their children. Family portraits hanging on your wall are an heirloom.
How many of you have a wall portrait of your family hanging on your wall, and an 8×10 doesn’t count – that’s a teeny tiny print?
